IT Should be a Battle of CENTURY!!!

Finally now I'm calm enough to write this post, if not there will be a lot of rough words.

On 6th March 2013 midnight, I purposely woke up to watch this match which will be one of the classic match in Football History- Manchester United vs Real Madrid. This is the first time CR7 came back to Old Trafford since he left to R.Madrid. In the first leg at Santiago Bernabéu, the match end with 1-1 draw where MU hold an advantage of an away goal. I said this match will be exciting and classic because one team will keep attack and try to score away goals, another team will try to defense and prepare for a counter to secure a place to quarter final.

When the team line-up been confirmed, everybody was shocked that Rooney was on bench. But that was part of Ferguson's tactic to try maintain a clean sheet. Well, for the first half it was a well done job by the lads. Although most of the time R.Madrid was attacking, but there was no way they are going thru United penalty box. On the other hand, there were moments where United's counter almost score for a goal. So, for the first half both teams did a splendid jobs.

The "exciting" part happened in the second half. On 48th minutes, United's counter cost Sergio Ramos,the captain to score an own goal which gave MU a 1-0 lead!!

Everybody was cheering because it seems like United was already one leg went to the quarter final. When everything seems to go as Ferguson plan.....................................................

Everything changed 180 degree on 56th minutes when this happened. As you can see, both players were looking at the ball and Nani had no idea that Arbeloa was closing him. When he noticed it was to late to keep his leg.






The SHOCKING moment happened when Cüneyt Çakır,a Turkish referee raised up a RED card to Nani!!

Everyone in the stadium, even those who were watching live were trilled to see this decision.

The gaffer was furious after seeing this decision.

Due to that stupid decision, it had ruined the whole match. Mourinho saw an advantage toward his team and substituted Modric to the match. As a result he scored the equalizer for Madrid. And last but not least it was the ex-United boy, CR7 scored the winning goal and sent United out of the game.

He shouldn't be blamed because its just part of his job. It has been an emotional night for him.

Kept his promise not to celebrate if he score

Although United had lost one man, but they never stop running and keep fighting till the end. There were moments where MU nearly score an equalizer, but due to the splendid performance by Madrid's keeper- Diego Lopez, Madrid kept the 1-2 scoreline till the final whistle.

All the United players were furious about referee's decision and tried to argue with him.

Even Ferguson can't kept his anger.

He even refuse to attend the press conference after the match.

After this match, a lot of players gave their opinion about that decision. Most of them think that it shouldn't be a red card. Even the Man C captain- Kompany said that.

Arghh!!!! Now that I think back still feel very PISS about this, want to shout the F-word!!!

In the end still need to face the fact that MU was out of UEFA Champion League now, but this will always be a topic for United fans.
