Perfume formed 15th Anniversary, Major Debut 10th Anniversary! Congratulation!!!
This year Perfume to celebrate their Major Debut 10th Anniversary, they had a one series of events called [Perfume Anniversary 10days 2015 PPPPPPPPPP (pronounce as papapa, papapa, papapapa)]. This series of events include 5 days of concert named as [ LIVE 3:5:6:9 ] and I went to one of the concert day! yatah!!!
[Perfume Anniversary 10days 2015] is a series of 10 days event to celebrate Perfume Major Debut 10th Anniversary.
A short summary about those 10 days event:
- Day 1: P.T.A. summit - a Perfume fans club event where only 1000 members being selected to join the event. The members are being selected thru a Perfume examination to test their knowledge about Perfume. I also participated in the exam, but only got in the rank of 6/10. T_T
- Day 2: Perfume FES!! 2015 - This is a small live concert event where Perfume invited some others 3 person group to join them, like Negicco, WEAVER and so on.
- Day 3: Perfume 3rd Dance Contest! - This time there are 2 type of competition, Complete Copy group to dance "Pick Me Up" exactly and Creative group to think of their choreography for "Perfect Star Perfect Style".
- Day 4: 'WE ARE Perfume' documentary movie premiere - The movie will be released on 31st October in Japan and also oversea. However there is a premiere on 25th Sept only for Perfume fans club members.
- Day 5, 6, 7, 8: LIVE 3:5:6:9 at Nippon Budokan!!
- Day 9, 10: LIVE 3:5:6:9 at Hiroshima Green Arena!
My friend and I went there around 11am and there already have a long queue for the goods.

After we settled everything, we went to Tokyo station for a lunch and go back around 3.30pm to collect my ticket and get ready to enter Budokan. However, what surprised me was that the queue had extended out of the Budokan area. There was still a long queue for the goods at that timing! I wonder how long will it take for the last person in that queue to buy the goods.

Finally we're inside Budokan!!!
From the photo can be seen that actually our seats are quite high up. We sit at the third last row of South East side. While we are walking up to our seats I was thinking how come fans club seats are so high up and not closer to the stage? Last year I went to the Gurun Gurun concert, our seats are quite close to the stage. まいいか, I'm already lucky to get the ticket and be there to watch Perfume dance, don't want to complain too much.
7.15pm, the concert start off with "FAKE IT"! Jump! Jump! Jump! What a song to start off with. Within a split second, my adrenaline all pump up, very HIGH! From this song I just realized the stage design is quite similar to the stage in its MV, with all the light stands surrounding the stage. |

Right after that is "Night Flight" and "Computer City"! Then continue by this year their first single song - "Pick Me Up" also one of my favorite song now. 3! 2! 1! Pick Me Up! Pick Me Up!
After 4 songs it was their MC sections - [3:5:6:9 corner]. Of course they must start with their signature introduction - " かしゆかです、あ〜ちゃんです、のっちです！三人合わせてーパフュームです！宜しくお願いします。" They talked about their Day 3 event which is the dance contest. They say right after the competition they had to prepare the live screening for "MUSIC Station Ultra Fes 2015" and performed 'Polyrhythm'. It was fun to perform with all the contestants that day.
They also said they have been preparing and planning for this 10th Anniversary event since 2 years ago. Then a~chan explained the meaning of [3:5:6:9] is actually すごろく(board game)! This time to have some surprising moment, they did something different - on the spot set list! To create a difference experience on each day for the fans, they decide to randomly choose a song to perform by rolling a big dice. There are 10 songs for them to choose, one song on each year since their debut until now. Even"彼氏募集中" (kareshi boshuuchuu) is in the list. They keep praying don't get this song because its too embarrassing to perform. LOL
First is Kashiyuka roll the dice and she got "Mirai no Museum". Then NOCCHi got "1mm". Each time the dice decide the song, that song's jacket cover will be displayed on the stage floor and Perfume lied down to do the same pose as the cover. It was so cute and funny. After that is a~chan's turn and she will choose 3 songs to perform. However she won't roll the dice 3 times, instead she picked 2 lucky audiences to help her roll! She picked someone at the arena seats block 9 no. 21 (their major debut date) and block 3 no. 21 (Perfume formed date). So envy of them able to be on stage with Perfume and shake their hands! In the end they chose "Secret Secret", "Electro World", "Twinkle Star Powdery Star". The amazing thing is I was able to see how they coordinate their positions from the first song to the second one, then to the third one. You can feel how strong their bond are, like they are able to read each other mind. Well, they have been together since primary school. Then for the first time, they did their cheer up thing on the stage! All the fans went crazy! Because they only do that at the back stage every time before they start the concert and now they do it in front of us! What an experience~!
Throughout the concert I realized that actually the fans club seats are the best seats for the concert. Because only the view from there can experience all the light effects, stage effects. Even though I can't see Perfume clearly, I can see what's happening on the stage. The effects are really AWESOME! I personally feel that is way better than 5th Tour Gurun Gurun effects. I really wanted to go to the concert again to experience the effect once more. Now I just can wait them to release a DVD for this concert.
After 2 hours and encored for one more performance, they ended that day with latest single song which will be release at the end of October - "STAR TRAIN". This is also the theme song for the [WE ARE Perfume] document movie.
They said when they first hear the song they feel like is a present from Nakata-san, their music producer to celebrate their 10th Anniversary. When they start singing there are screens showing what they've been thru since their debut time. I almost cried while listening to them, looking at the screen and reading the lyrics of the song. It is so meaningful to them.
After this song it was time to goodbye to them. It was really an awesome concert with some new experience. I really like it a lot. Can't wait to buy the DVD for this concert.
Thanks to my senpai who already went to Perfume concert with me twice! But it won't be the last one! I'll be back to Perfume concert!!

Actually besides Day 5, I also went for Day 4 event on 25th Sept - their movie premiere!
On the left is the movie ticket which is damn nice! I purposely bought one to keep it even though it cost 2000 yen. It is a documentary movie about their World Tour 3rd, and show about the places they went during that tour especially LA and New York because it was their first time to have concert there. However, surprisingly there are a lot of scenes in Singapore. ^^ Will definitely watch again at Singapore on 31st October!
