Still left a few days, year of 2014 is coming to its end. A lot of happenings this year: the end of my Chapters of Studying and the start of my Chapter of working life, my first travel in Japan, as well as my first live concert in Japan! There is so much to talk about 2014, time to recall back.....
Angry Bird, Candy Crush, 2048, Flappy Bird, all these are once most popular smartphone games where everyone are playing them no matter they are in train, in car, in bus or even walking. However, all these games after I played for awhile I have lost interest to it. They can't motivate me to keep on playing them. So far I haven't played the same smartphone game for more than a month. Until recently I downloaded this Japanese game - AKB48 ついに公式音ゲーでました!
3 months ago, Perfume announced they gonna have their 5th Tour「ぐるんぐるん」in Japan from August till September. PTA fans club member can ballot for 2 tickets of any concert, so I just tried my luck to ballot for the tickets in Tokyo, Yoyogi National Gymnasium and I got THEM!!! My second concert and first concert in JAPAN is definitely going to be Perfume's !!!
2 years ago during the Summer transfer market, Manchester United announced they had sign Shinji Kagawa (香川真司) from BVB(link for the news). I was very excited to see that news because United finally signed a Japanese player!

2 great seasons in BVB under manager Klopp had attract a lot of major clubs' attention, including Sir Alex Ferguson. During that moment I kept hoping that he will join United someday and in 2012 it really happened! The 3rd Asian players after Dong and Park to be an United player. He straight away become my favorite Japanese player.
In his first season with Manchester United, he got 26 appearance and scored 6 goals. Even though the statistics was not as great as his time in BVB, he got his first BPL title and helped United got the 20th league title. However his nightmare started after Ferguson announced his retirement after that season. He only got to work with Ferguson for one season.
After that "genius" took over United, he barely use Kagawa. He is such a talented player who often play quick passes and create chances for team mates. However he was always sitting on the bench, wasting his talent. I was so angry that the "genius" didn't use him. After he was being sacked and appointed LVG as the new manager, I thought this might be a new start for Kagawa. But in the end LVG also said Kagawa is not part of his plan. From that moment I truly hope Kagawa can leave United and join back his old club who really want to use him.
Then this morning Manchester United officially announced Kagawa joined back his old club (link). Even though I'm sad to see my favourite player left United, but at the same time I feel happy for him to join back his old club. I really hope he can find back his form there and reach another career peak! Thank you for the past 2 seasons!

4 years ago, I was still struggling whether I should come Singapore for my Degree. Fortunately, my parents supported me all the way, let me follow my dream to study in Singapore. And now I've successfully graduated from NTU!
If someone ask me what is my memory about my University life, except from those horrible memories of chiong-ing projects, mugging for exams, my best memory will be the moment when I decided to join the Japanese Appreciation Club! From that onward, I have a lot of great memories in NTU instead of the boring mugging life.
If everyone checked their facebook, or take note about big international news recently should saw a lot of this tag #prayforMH370. This is about a missing Malaysia Airline (MAS) plane MH370 on the midnight of 8th March 2014. There were 239 passengers on board and this would be the largest international crisis for Malaysia since these 57 years of Independence.
After these few days of investigation, not only that we don't have any clue what happen to the plane, the whole world can see how weak our Malaysia's leaders are when handling this International crisis. Announced to public that the plane was missing after 5 hours the plane went vanished from the radar, different statements from the Minister, Chief Police officer, CEO of MAS, and the most ridiculous thing is the Malaysia's "rescue" team!
After the plane went missing, Vietnam and Singapore already sent their submarines and ships to find the plane as they suspect the plane crashed into the sea. However, Malaysia never send out the submarine that they bought for billions ringgit. WHY??? Navy Chief explained "Submarines not designed for search-and-rescue ops". WTF!!!! Then they spent Malaysia citizens' money to buy this submarine for what??!! Really don't understand.
All these already starting to destroy Malaysia International image, but past few days happened some situation that really made us Malaysian throw face throw till left the bone. Some Minister hired a Bomoh (Malay witch doctor) to go KLIA to "sense" where is the plane.

Bomoh : "All I can see is just black image. The plane now is either on air or under the sea. Its definitely not on land." Are you kidding me? Are you talking nonsense?? If the plane is not flying, of course its under the water! If it is on land, the satellite should have found it already! Arrr!!! You think this is ridiculous? There was even more ridiculous stuff happened. After next 2 days, this happened....
When I looked at this photo, I only can sit there and laugh silly. They don't feel embarrass I also feel ashamed of myself. My country really asked them to do these in front of all the journalists from everywhere. They were just making fun of our country. Seriously! No wonder there are still people from other country thought Malaysian still live on a tree.

This is still not the worst thing happened. After the plane went missing, the whole world are worried for them. However, the next day Malaysia PM still got the mood to go market and tell everyone you can buy 1 chicken with just RM1. Don't always complain price of goods raise.
OMG!!!! Why you have to choose this timing to say all these BULLSHIT! As a leader of the country, after happened such big crisis, shouldn't you come out and say something that would calm people and not do all these silly things!!
I really feel sorry for the victims' family. Sorry about our Government incompetence, they still can't give them an answer.
The above is just my personal opinion about this incident, is not that I want to criticize about my own country. But I really fed up with the way they handle this crisis. If you don't agree can just forget about it, I have the right to speak my opinion freely. Lastly, I sincerely pray they quickly found the plane and hope all the passengers are still fine.
This was the last thing we heard from the greatest manager ever, Sir Alex Ferguson on his retirement speech. When he announced David Moyes will be the new manager, the first thing came into my mind was 'Can he handle such BIG team? Big Pressure?? ' Then, one by one the staffs like Mike Phelan, Eric Steele and so on had to leave also because DM had brought his own team of staffs. Seeing such situation I can only expect him to bring Manchester United into top four in his first season.
Then during transfer window, he keep on asking for his Everton duo: Baines and Fellaini while there are still a lot of alternative players to buy like Mesut Ozil. In the end, on the last day of transfer window he brought his favourite- Fellaini to join him at a price of £27.5 million. I seriously think that was an overly paid fee. He could have use this amount to buy even better players. However I know a manager would like to bring in a player that he know very well, know what he is capable of to his new team. BUT the fact is DM can't even know how to use him in Manchester United! After half a season gone, I can't tell what is Fellaini's role in Man United! Is he suppose to take the header for set pieces? Is he in charge of the air ball? Is he suppose to pass a direct ball forward for the wingers or strikers? Is he suppose to be a defend midfield and take the ball from opponent? If so, I can't see any of those happening!! For me, he is a total fail signing from DM.
People keep saying believe in Moyes, give him time, Ferguson also need a few years to bring United to success.. STOP ALL THESE BULLSHITS!!! When Ferguson take over Manchester United what was his team squad? Of course he need a few years to build his new team! But when Moyes take over Manchester United what is his team squad? BPL Champions of season 2012/13!!! Plus some talented signing from Ferguson before his retirement like Zaha, Januzaj. He had a team of Champions players, why he can't produce some great result? Other team also changed their manager before new season started like Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and they still did quite well with their teams. Even Everton his former team had a better result than Manchester United.
I never expect him to bring Man United to win every matches, but with the team he got he must at least produce some consistent team form. What he produced so far was just disappointing home record.

I am not those 'fans' who won't support the team anymore if they can't win any trophy. But there is a limit for everyone. All the fans want to see some great game especially when it is play at the Theater of Dream, Old Trafford. But now it is more like Theater of Nightmare. Last time I used to watch closely to the match for 90 minutes even when United was lacking behind, because you won't know what will be the result until the whistle blow. But now! *sigh* I will do other stuff while watching. I feel ashamed by saying this, but this is how DM had made me into, even for a hardcore fans like me.
Now is the Winter transfer window, everyone keep saying he should buy new players to enhance the team. I don't really care who join, what I hope is the current players like Rooney, Van Persie, Chicharito, De Gea, Kagawa,Rafael don't leave United so easily. There are rumors saying Rooney had pend the new deal. If he keep playing like this, sooner or later the players will leave.
Expectation for this season? Change a more capable Manger who can handle BIG Team and Star Players!!!
